Aquatic Manager Location: McKineey/Frisco, TX,
Position Type: Full-time, 35+ hours per week (days and hours vary based on season & school needs)
Pay & Benefits
Full-time pay: $40,000-45,000 per year + quarterley bonus opportunities

About the Role

As an Aquatic Manager at Aqua-Tots, you’ll oversee our swim lesson team, ensuring every lesson meets our high standards for safety, quality, and an exceptional family experience. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to mentor instructors, develop leaders, and maintain a hands-on presence in the pool, shaping both team culture and student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Hire, train, coach, and evaluate Water Safety Instructors
Mentor instructors and identify future leaders within the aquatics team
Oversee Lead Instructor Trainers (LITs) and support performance
Conduct monthly in-service trainings and ongoing instructor assessments
Swim Instruction & Deck Supervision
Teach 1–3 permanent swim lesson shifts per week
Serve as Deck Supervisor for at least one permanent shift per week
Conduct in-water training, co-teaching, and instructor evaluations
Pool Operations & Safety
Maintain safe, clean, and organized pool environment
Ensure compliance with state and county health department regulations
Address pool safety concerns immediately
Maintain consistent quality and progression of Aqua-Tots swim curriculum
Customer & Family Experience
Foster a welcoming, family-focused environment
Build strong relationships with families and respond to concerns within 24 hours
Support the General Manager in resolving escalated concerns
Administrative Responsibilities
Complete administrative tasks (approx. 3–5 hours/week)
Maintain accurate instructor schedules and training documentation
Review student progress reports and support enrollment growth initiatives
Participate in required company meetings and calls
Qualifications
Background in aquatics, coaching, or swim instruction
Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Passion for water safety, aquatics, and team development
Ability to lead in a fast-paced aquatic environment
CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
